Nana Peach
I dont have a lot of information on nana other than she was a relieving teacher at Shannon school, dated 22 June 1923 , Im not 100% but the date most likely is a start date at the school
So what I thought I would do ,I would ask as many grandchildren of nana their memories of her so below are all those memories

I was thinking about Nana Peach & how she used to come to our place every Sunday for roast dinner, she always made a pudding . I remember Jam roly-poly being a favorite with the Gandkids
When Nana stayed with use she would find a chair in the sun and read mill & boon books, she loved reading and liked the saucy stories
I never heard a angry voice from her , she was pretty quiet & calm whenever I saw her , miss you Nana

Teri and Robyn called in to see nana in Marton nursing home on their way to Shannon from Auckland. They went outside for a smoke and nana wanted to be outside with them , then asked if she could have a cigarette too , so Teri gave her one . Nana never smoked in her life time I dont think until that day
Teri and Nana I miss you both

Phil had moved back home and nana was living with mum and dad at the time. They were not aloud to have a gin until Phil got home from work ,each day as Phil arrived home and was walking inside, the 3 Gin and Tonics were poured and a bourbon for Phil was made, Im thinking there was a plate with crackers, cheese and pickles as well yummo
